The FPCs pre-assembled with 3M 9077 can be inserted into the lead-free soldering process (peak temperature 260°C, 20 sec.). The protective cover remains largely undamaged and can be easily removed. The 9077 has good peel strength even at high temperatures. Due to the carrier material, this adhesive tape also has excellent punchability. The low outgassing of the adhesive reduces contamination of electronic components. Our 3M (TM) Extremely High Temperature Resistant Double-Sided Tape 9077 is a transfer tape with adhesive on both sides that can withstand high temperatures and still be processed efficiently. The 2 mil pressure sensitive adhesive can withstand high temperatures for a short period of time and is suitable for many different processing and operating environments such as use in the engine compartment of a car.
