The 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II Hookit (TM) 950U paper abrasive disc can be used for a wide range of applications in the automotive and aviation industries, for applications in shipbuilding and steel construction, as well as for maintenance work. The 950U discs are designed for use on flat surfaces and are characterized by a particularly open coating that effectively counteracts clogging - stearates are not used in order not to contaminate the surfaces. Thanks to the 3M (TM) precision grain technology, this hook and loop abrasive disc delivers fast and cool stock removal and impresses with its long service life. 3M (TM) Cubitron (TM) II Hookit (TM) paper abrasive discs are the ideal solution for finishing paint coatings, light scale, aluminum, fiberglass and similar composite materials that normally lead to clogging of abrasives. 950U abrasive discs offer a particularly open coating that effectively counteracts clogging of the disc - without stearates and the associated risk of contamination of surfaces to be painted. These sanding products contain 3M precision ceramic grit. With its triangular shape, it cuts through the surface to be sanded instead of plowing through it like conventional abrasive grain. The cutting edges of the abrasive grains resharpen during the process, enabling extremely fast material removal. The 3M portfolio includes a complete range of hook and loop wheels for workplaces where abrasive wheels with adhesive backing may be unsuitable due to dust residues. Hook and loop discs also provide a slightly finer finish than adhesive backed products, so they are often used when StikitTM products are too aggressive to the surface.
