They are manufactured with precision-molded ceramic abrasive grains bonded to a nylon mesh. The hardness of the ceramic material in combination with the self-sharpening grain extends the service life and work can be carried out more quickly without compromising the desired smooth result or the adjustable processing with Scotch-Brite abrasive discs.
