The Scotch-Brite (TM) Surface Conditioning Film Backed non-woven tape is a tape with a reinforced nylon film backing that is smooth and stretch resistant. Our belts are designed for efficient cleaning, finishing, blending and deburring. They work well when reduced friction is required. The Scotch-Brite (TM) non-woven tape on film backing for surface preparation can be used for cleaning, finishing, blending and deburring. The stretch-resistant belts are well suited for use with clamping plates or when low friction is required. The film backing material gives our belts high stretchability and reduces friction. The non-woven material, in combination with the extremely sharp-edged aluminum oxide abrasive grain, offers a high removal rate and a long service life. These sanding belts are ideal for achieving a good finish or removing burrs without gouging or under-sanding the workpiece.
