3M (TM) Screen Printable Pressure Sensitive Adhesive SP7202 is a liquid that can be applied using a screen printing process and cures in 1 - 2 seconds under UV light. This makes it a pressure-sensitive adhesive. It enables fine glued seams larger than 0.2 mm and small holes of approx. 1 mm with less waste than punching. These 100% solid adhesives can be pressed directly onto workpieces. Once cured, the adhesive is resistant to water and chemicals and can be used immediately or covered with a protective cover for shipping to another location. It prints fine lines larger than 0.2 mm and holes of approximately 1 mm in size with great precision and less waste than processes such as die-cutting. The material can be used for conventional screen printing and UV curing equipment. The need to cure the liquid under UV light ensures long processing times, which helps to avoid screen clogging and a wide range of storage temperatures. The cured adhesive is water and chemical resistant and offers excellent adhesion to polycarbonate, polyester and higher surface energy materials.
