The 3M (TM) Trizact (TM) 253FA is a structured abrasive for intermediate and fine sanding in wet applications on steels and stainless steels. The defined, uniform abrasive grain structure in a three-dimensional pattern ensures consistently high removal rates with the best possible surface quality. The impregnated XF polyester backing is waterproof and improves service life, especially with water/oil emulsions. The textured abrasive is particularly suitable for intermediate and fine sanding in wet applications on hard metals and stainless steel.
