The 3M (TM) Body Adhesive consists of a two-component epoxy for bonding steel, aluminum, SMC and FRP (conventional fiberglass). The product is mainly used as a replacement for side panels, roofs, body sides, van side panels, commercial vehicle side panels and door panels. Complete sealing and bonding in a single operation with 3M (TM) Body Adhesive. Our innovative, high-performance, cost-effective adhesive bonds steel, aluminum, SMC and SVK (traditional fiberglass) when replacing side panels, roofs, body sides, van side panels, commercial vehicle side panels and door panels. The product can be spot-welded through riveted joints or applied together with these joints. Under certain circumstances, the product is also suitable for repairing bumper panels. This product is not intended for bonding structural parts of vehicles, e.g. pillars, sills or frame parts. If it is not clear whether a particular component belongs to the structural parts, this component must be welded. The 3M (TM) manual pressure gun 08117 or the 3M (TM) compressed air gun 09930 is recommended for applying the product.
