- Alloyed case-hardening steel with a core tensile strength of at least 950 N/mm²
- Case-hardened, HRC 60 ± 2 (HV 700 ± 50)
- Hardness depth 0.8 mm ±0.2 mm
- black-oxide and precision-ground finish
- With internal coolant supply or with threaded connection for external coolant supply
- with length compensation under compression and tension
