Application
Starter kits consist of sandpaper, diamond grinding discs or diamond lapping discs, polishing cloths, suspensions and informative preparation descriptions and recommendations. The diamond suspension is sufficient for preparation of approx. 10–20 specimens.
Notes
All recommendations and machine parameters are approximate guide values. These may vary slightly between machines. The following criteria are relevant for preparations: evenness of the magnet plate, rotation speed of the machine plate and specimen holder, offset values from the centre of the machine plate to the specimen holder, and contact pressure.
