The Starlock AIZ 20 AB plunge-cut saw blade enables fine cuts in wood and unhardened metal. The narrow 20 mm wide blade enables filigree work. The robust Starlock mounting system reduces lateral vibration of the blade and enables hair-thin cuts thanks to direct power transmission. It is used for sawing cut-outs in furniture components, flush cutting copper pipes to length and plunge cuts in plasterboard. This blade saws wood and unhardened metal, soft plastics and panels with plastic lamination. The bi-metal combination of HCS steel (high carbon steel) blade and HSS steel (high speed steel) teeth is wear and heat resistant and gives the blade a long service life when cutting unhardened metal and abrasive materials. The Starlock mounting system enables the blade to be changed quickly in three seconds without touching the blade. Thanks to its three-dimensional tight fit, the mounting system enables maximum power transmission between the machine and accessory.
