The T 118 BF Flexible for Metal jigsaw blade is break-resistant when cutting straight through metal. The milled, wavy teeth are designed for cutting sheet metal. The hardened HSS (high speed steel) and BIM (bi-metal) tooth strip is reinforced with highly elastic HCS (carbon steel), which reduces the risk of breakage and provides both sufficient strength and flexibility, both of which are required to cut perforated sheet metal made of steel (standard thickness). The blade is equipped with a fine progressive tooth pitch (1.9-2.3 mm) and cuts a variety of medium-thick metal sheets with a thickness of 2.5-6 mm.
