The T 318 AF Flexible for Metal jigsaw blade is break-resistant when cutting straight into metal. The milled, wavy teeth are designed for cutting metal pipes and profiles. The tooth strip made of hardened HSS (high-speed steel) and BIM (bi-metal) is reinforced with highly elastic HCS (carbon steel), which reduces the risk of breakage. This ensures both sufficient strength and the necessary flexibility to cut pipes and open metal profiles (e.g. in L-/H-/U-/T-shape) made of steel (standard thickness). The blade's very fine tooth pitch (1.1 mm) cuts thin-walled metal pipes and profiles with a wall thickness of 1-3 mm, while the long length (132 mm) cuts pipes and profiles with a diameter of up to 65 mm.
