Execution

• Non-conductive weighing goods, such as plastic, porcelain, glass etc. is frequently electrostatically charged. Due to the resulting electromagnetic field between the weighing goods and scales, the weighing result can be corrupted down to the gram range. Therefore neutralisation of the electrostatic charge with the KERN AC corona discharge ioniser is recommended if weighing is performed in the milligram range. It can be conveniently placed next to the scales using the adjustable feet or directed by hand from several sides towards a critical item to be weighed.
