The CS 561 fiber discs are used on standard angle grinders. The discs owe their high stock removal rate and long service life to the hard aluminium oxide abrasive grain and the strong synthetic resin bond. This makes the fibre disc suitable for a wide range of applications: In the metal sector for coarse deburring work and weld seam processing as well as for rust removal and fine sanding. In coarser grit sizes, CS 561 is also suitable for wood and plastic. The sanding pattern is influenced by the backing pad selected - the flexible ST 358 achieves a uniform sanding pattern, while the hard, ribbed ST 358 A is more suitable for coarse sanding work and high stock removal.
