Diamond escapement file half-round 140mm D25 (fine) for small geometries of hard materials. Diamond files and sheets are used wherever conventional files fail due to the hardness of the material to be processed. Diamond files and sheets are also used for machining hardened steel. The working temperatures are so low that no chemical wear occurs. This means that the higher hardness of the diamond grain can be utilized for a longer service life. Diamond escapement files are used in toolmaking on the smallest profiles and in precision mechanics. They can be used without a handle thanks to the forged shank. The finest surface finishes can be achieved with grit size D 25.
