Application

Probe insert is inserted into common Tschorn 3D edge finder models.

Execution

  • As its diameter is larger than the housing of the 3D edge finder, this special probe insert enables probing to an almost infinite depth and opens up new possibilities. By using slim tool holders for clamping the 3D edge finder (the diameter of which is smaller than dia. 50 mm), you can extend the depth almost as much as you want. Determine the workpiece position and measure the parallelism - at almost infinite depths.
