Application

The completely newly developed design of the VariMill XTREME solid carbide end mills enables significantly better chip evacuation with simultaneously increased stability of the entire tool and also of the cutting edges. This results in less tool deflection and risk of tool breakage and enables an extremely wide range of applications (including helical immersion, groove milling, plunge milling, drilling, spiral interpolation and dynamic milling) on a wide variety of workpiece materials.

  • 4 cutting edges with asymmetric pitch and variable pitch of the spiral angles to significantly reduce vibration
  • Curved face cutting edges to stabilise the face while increasing the ramping capacity at the same time
  • Parabolically rising tool core for increased stability and reduced deflection
  • Optimised chip rooms for improved chip removal and improved ramping capacity up to plunge milling
