Lugging a heavy tool bag with lots of different pliers to the construction site? That's now a thing of the past! With the multi-function pliers for electrical installations, you not only save a lot of weight, but also valuable space in your tool bag. They combine the following eight functions in just one tool: deburring, bending eyelets, holding and gripping, screwing, stripping, crimping, cutting cables and shortening screws. The most important work steps can therefore be carried out with just one tool. Starting with the universal tip of the pliers head, the round side can be used to bend wires easily and without damage to form a small eyelet. The flat and angular side offers the possibility of deburring plastic parts, for example in flush-mounted boxes. The gripping surfaces again offer two options. The front smooth gripping surface can be used to feed wires without damaging them, while the serrated gripping surface behind it enables secure and powerful gripping. The classic torch hole is shaped in a newly developed geometry so that hexagonal geometries can also be gripped in addition to round material and pipes. This special shape also makes it possible to screw hexagon bolts and nuts. For cable processing, the pliers offer the option of precise and clean cutting of copper and aluminum cables up to a diameter of 5 x 2.5 mm² / Ø 15 mm, as well as a total of three separate stripping stations for stripping the wires: 0.75 mm², 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm². A crimping station with mandrel crimping enables the crimping of wire end ferrules in the 0.5 - 2.5 mm² range. The multi-function pliers from Wiha offer an absolute plus with an integrated shearing station for device screws. Up to a diameter of 3.3 mm, these can be easily shortened to the desired length. An opening spring that can be switched on and off enables smooth operation, while the comfortable two-component handle is easy on hands and muscles. When switched off, the pliers can be stowed away to save space. The pliers are subjected to routine testing in accordance with the international IEC 60900 standard and enable safe working in the area of live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
